A brand new lifestyle and entertainment TV show, ShowBuzz has made a grand entry into Nigerian TV on the network service of Africa’s largest TV network, the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.
Targeted at Nigeria’s large multicultural audience and leveraging NTA’s unrivaled viewership of over 27 million TV boxes across the country, ShowBuzz hopes to deliver top-notch entertainment driven by the best of music videos, events, movie review, sports, celebrity expose and news.
Its variety of segments includes the video chart, fans’ request, #AcrossNigeria, #TopSkit, e-news, #FreshBuzz, #BuzzFeature, and much more carefully designed for family consumption.
AcrossNigeria is a segment that provides information about people, places, and cultures across the country as a way of educating the audience and promoting local tourism with an emphasis on both the modern and historic.
BuzzFeature brings exciting sights and sounds from the best of events, behind the scenes from movie sets, music video making, celebrity interviews as well as unplugged sessions with budding talents.
Speaking on the new show, ShowBuzz’s Executive Producer Keni Akintoye said: “We created ShowBuzz as a response to the yearnings of millions of young Nigerians and brands for more music, entertainment and lifestyle programming with a good blend of cerebral content.
