President Buhari summons service chiefs
President Buhari summoned the meeting of the National Security Council on thursday, over the recent security challenges in some parts of the country.
The meeting may not be unconnected with the rising wave of insecurity and brutal killings currently going on in the north, particiltarly kaduna state and other locations.

This was disclosed in a tweet by Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant on new media to the president via his verified Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad.
The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo is also a part of the high level security meeting currently going on at the moment

The meeting began shortly after the service chiefs arrived at the Presidential Villa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Although the agenda of the meeting is yet to be ascertained, hopefully the details of the meeting will be known once the meeting is over.
Recall just yesterday, about 8 indigenes of Kajuru in kaduna were brutally murdered by men suspected to be armed herdsmen.
