APC chairman and Governor Obaseki are facing off over Edo election
There may still be light at the end of the tunnel for Governor Godwin Obaseki as President Buhari’s men step into the crisis that has threatened his re-election bid.
Punch reports that Gambari on Monday met with the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, and other members of the party’s National Working Committee to likely discuss the unfolding drama that has engulfed the party in the run-up to the September election in Edo State.
Top party chiefs attending the meeting with Oshiomhole include the party’s National Vice Chairman (North West), Inuwa Abdulkadir; National Treasurer, Adamu Panda; and two others.
