…COVID-19 won’t just hold back the school
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has decided to host a virtual matriculation for its fresh students.
It was gathered from a statement by the NOUN Director of Media and Publicity Mr. Ibrahim Sheme that the university has arrived at this decision due to the current lockdown of the nation’s educational system.
The matriculation which has been scheduled to hold on the 13th of June is to take place on the Zoom App. The matriculation would see the delivering of the Vice Chancellor’s speech and the administering of oaths by the Registrar, Mr. Felix Idoka.
Mr. Ibrahim Sheme urges the students to download the Zoom App in anticipation of the matriculation.
