…Buratai says Nigeria is winning the insurgency war
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on Monday organised a closed meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) discloses that focus of the meeting between the duo was unknown as at the time of gathering this news.
However, NAN reported that the Chief of Army Staff would leverage on the occasion of the meeting to brief the president on his recent mission to the battlefields in the North East.

Buratai had in April relocated to the North-East to coordinate the ongoing war against the Boko Haram and the Islamic State West African Province terrorists by the Nigerian troops.
NAN reports that Buratai, who lost his biological mother while battling the Boko Haram insurgents at Sambisa forest, returned to Abuja on Sunday to intimate the president on the situation report so far.
