The flood has wrecked havoc on many areas in the state
Flooding from a heavy downpour in the early hours of Thursday has swept away a 4-year old girl and displaced no fewer than 20 families from their homes in Lagos.
The rain was said to have removed the roof of some houses in the Lekki, Ajah and Orile areas of the state.
The storm was also said to have removed a roof of a particular house at Agege, leaving a woman and her daughter injured.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency was said to have been alerted to the storm, but when they got there, however, they were told that the flood had carried away a 4-year old girl known as ‘Azeezat’.
The girl has yet to be found. The search for her body is still ongoing.
The flood was also said to have affected another house as it caused the collapse of its fence and also displaced some other persons residing in the same compound.
Above all, the agency for Emergency has conducted research on affected areas and has oriented the residents on how they can attain safety during this period.
