Minister of Education says that Nigeria has to come up with some innovations
The Federal Government has presented proposed guidelines to the National Assembly against reopening of schools.
This presentation was made by the Minsiter of State for Education, Chukwuemeke Nwajiuba during a meeting with the Senate Committee on Basic and Secondary Education.
In the meeting, the minister said that it had plans to open schools and move the education sector forward during the pandemic and that if the senate had not summoned them, they would have come themselves.
They however said that they do not want this decison to be made to the public yet so the proposed guidelines would not be taken for reopening itself.

The issue of how the private schools were ahead of their counterparts. It was said that the education sector could not move on while some categories are ahead of the others.
It has been decided that more innovations had to be created in order to save the nation’s education sector from going down the drain.
