Other Ministers are participating from their different offices in Abuja.
After the national anthem, the FEC members observed one-minute silence to honour the former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Inuwa Abdulkadir, who died on Monday.
President Buhari had earlier said in a statement that the former member of the National Working Committee and National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (North West) had humility, maturity and proclivity for facilitating understanding among members of the ruling party.
The President lamented that Abdulkadir will be deeply missed at a period the All Progressives Congress (APC) is rebuilding and restrategising to deliver on its promises.
