Nigeria COVID-19 infections have surpassed 200 per day as the total number of confirmed infections hit 1,932, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC tally on Thursday.
According to the update by the NCDC late Thursday, Nigeria has recorded 204 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the country’s total infections to 1,932.
According to the update contained in a tweet, of the new infections, 45 are in Lagos, 80 are in Kano, while 12 are in Gombe.
Bauchi and Sokoto recorded nine cases each, Borno and Edo States recorded seven cases each, Rivers and Ogun 6 each, while FCT, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa recorded 4 new infections each.
Others include 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Oyo, Delta and Nasarawa, while Ondo and Kebbi States recorded one cases each.
Meanwhile, the number of discharged cases has also risen to 319, even as the number of death casualties rose to 58.
