All returnees were tested for COVID-19 before departure from UAE
About 300 stranded Nigerians who have been stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have returned home.
Abike Dabiri the Chairperson, Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission said this on her Twitter handle on Friday.
She also said that the returnees were tested for COVID-19 before they boarded the plane to Nigeria and they all tested negative.

They were said to have arrived on Thursday afternoon at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
She, however, said that they will be tested again at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and placed in self-isolation centres for 14 days before they are freed to roam the streets of Nigeria.
