…Lawmakers to send delegates to Ajimobi family in Ibadan
The Senate has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to immortalise the late immediate past governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi by naming Ibadan airport after him.
The request was made at the plenary of the Senate on Tuesday.
During a point of order, a member of the Upper Chamber representing Oyo North, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari made the motion that Ibadan airport should be named after the late senator as a tribute. It was accepted with a voice vote.
It was approved by the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan.
