BREAKING: Commercial flights to resume operations by July 8

Abuja, Lagos airport to resume on July 8 while Owerri, Kano, Port Harcourt and Maiduguri airports are to resume by July 11

The Murtala Muhammed International Airport and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Lagos and Abuja respectively are to resume operations by July 8.

This information was publicised by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika via his Twitter handle on Wednesday.

I am glad to announce that Abuja & Lagos airports will resume domestic operations on the 8th of July, 2020. Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri & Maiduguri to resume on the 11th. Other airports on the 15th. Date for international to be announced in due course. Bear with us, please 🇳🇬🙏🏽🇳🇬

He also said that the Kano, Port Harcourt, Owerri, and Maiduguri would resume operations by July 11.

He went ahead to say that the date for the resumption of international flights would be announced soon.
