Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known by his stage name Adekunle Gold is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer.
The singer rose to fame in the year 2010 after he released his first single Sade. The singer was formerly under the YBNL (Yahoo Boy No Laptop nation) records founded by rapper Olamide Baddo. The relationship started off when Adekunle being a graphics designer helped to design the YBNL logo.
Then, after Adekunle released his first song “Sade”, Olamide noticed him and the relationship kicked off from there.
Adekunle Gold has released several songs and has till now remained very significant in the music industry.
Some weeks ago, Adekunle Gold welcomed his first child Adejare with his wife Simi, who is also a famous singer in the US.

This song by Adekunle Gold could be said to have been inspired by the singer’s craving for greatness. It was similarly released in the year 2015.
Quite different from the two above mentioned songs, this song talks about the singer’s calling unto God to pick up his calls, which means that God should answer his prayers.
He says that others who have made it do not have two heads and he can also make it as well.
The song was said to have been inspired due to a discrimination which Adekunle faced earlier in his career. He was told he could not park his car where others did and that he had to park outside.
The song is a plea to God to answer his prayers and grant his heart desires in terms of cars, a wife a house and the likes.

4. UNCLE SUURU
This song could be said to compliment number 4 song. It talks about the singer’s desires to become a big star. It was released in the year 2015.
He also mentions how the life of a musician isn’t a bed of roses as many people might be forced to think.

5. WORK
This song was produced in the year 2016. It was inspired by a particular tweet which Adekunle saw about someone who wanted something but did not have the means to get it.
